Saturday day night The Red Hot let it all hang out for it's first birthday. The business was in front and a party was added in the back but not in a bad, mullet kind of way.

I missed out on the main event that involved Angela Jossy performing and catering by Herban Cafe. Nevertheless, my drive from our company retreat went smoothly and I stopped by Frost Park about 1:20pm to see who was left behind.

Got an invite from the patriarch of the Stowe fam here in town earlier this week to take a peek inside their periodic BBQ's get-together's. Ensie and I joined the Stowe's, their Seattle friend, jcbetty and little lady, Dawntown, and Mandiferous for Meaties this afternoon.

It was a fabulous day for art and today's chalk off in Frost Park didn't disappoint. The competition opened up nationally a bit with guests of Laura Hanan's vacation spot from New York City participating.

I wasn't able to make it down for last weekend's Latino Fest but a by-product of it has dazzled me each morning this week on my way to work. Her name is Gloria and she's a stunning tall ship from Colombia.

Sunday I had the pleasure of heading to this year's Woofstock over on the UPS campus with Ensie, Frinklin and their Jeffrey who was a very good boy for our outing. The outdoor pet adoption and music fest had a great energy about it with tons of happy owners strolling about mingling and having a look at all the booths.
